Jean Nelson accepts Bronze Award for BCRW accomplishments

BCRW President Jean Nelson accepts award from NFRW President Carrie Almond in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA -- Benton County Republican Women (BCRW) was awarded the Bronze Award for Achievement during the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) 39th Biennial Convention held Sept. 14-17 in Philadelphia. “Hard work and a strong sense of community among our members made it possible for BCRW to achieve this award,” said Jean Nelson, BCRW president. The award was recognized at the Oregon Federation of Republican Women’s convention, October 6-8, in Salem. BCRW was also awarded a cash prize by OFRW for the club with the greatest growth in membership for 2017 and a $25 award was issued for BCRW's outstanding newsletter by Arden Ray, editor.
